Asus Eee PC 1005HA is definitely a great mini laptop, but one of the possible complains that people might have on this machine is the glossy screen which will turn into a mirror when being used outdoor or in a brightly lid room. The good news is Asus does offer a matte screen version called the Eee PC 1005HA-V
, which is currently available on Amazon.com for $339. You will notice that the price for the matte screen version is slightly lower compare to the standard version (Eee PC 1005HA-P), and that's because Asus has decided to lower the specs for the matte screen version for some reason. Instead of 1.66GHz Atom N280 CPU and 10 hours of listed battery life, the Eee PC 1005HA-V comes with only 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU and 8 hours of listed battery life.
